An anti-ship mine washed ashore by a stormy sea has been was uncovered and wrecked in the Odesa area.
The Ukrainian Navy stated this in a post on the Telegram messaging application, Ukrinform reports.
“A different anti-ship mine washed ashore by a stormy sea was uncovered in the Odesa location. A distinctive demining group of the Ukrainian Navy neutralized the mine on the place and moved it to the place of destruction exactly where a managed explosion was carried out,” the report reads.
The Navy recalled that the coastline and coastal waters stay a rather hazardous zone because of to the mine threat, such as for the duration of stormy weather.
As of Sunday, January 8, the enemy retains two warships in the Black Sea, none of them armed with missiles.
